  • If a participant does not attend multiple classes in a term without notification by them or a parent/guardian or without a valid reason, their place in that class may not be offered to them again the following term.
  • No refunds will be given unless extenuating circumstances result in the withdrawal of a participant. All withdrawal requests must be put in writing and sent to the owner/directors of EGA for their consideration. Circumstances that may require a participant to withdraw might include significant injury or illness or compassionate reasons.
  • If a class is cancelled by EGA then a make-up class will be offered, or a credit given.

  • If a parent/guardian wants to discuss anything with the participant’s coach, they must arrange a time that suits both parties. Under no circumstances must a coach be confronted during a class.
Competition
  • Before a competition season commences, gymnasts will be assessed to ensure they are competing the correct level or if they should compete at all. This will be a discussion between a participant’s coach and the head coach of EGA, who will ultimately have the final say.
  • Any gymnast who will be competing will require to purchase a competition leotard and tracksuit. There will also be a competition fee for each event attended and a parent/guardian will have to transport the participant to and from these competitions.
  • A parent/guardian who has a gymnast competing in a competition season must volunteer at the events at least once during the season.
